BREAKING: MC Bans The Acropolis

I hope everyone went to vote today. Returns will start flooding in soon. In about an hour, I’ll be off to a certain candidate’s “victory party” (we shall see).

Shocking news regarding the state of The Acropolis at WordPress. It seems that three days after the post about new ID number policies at Mississippi College, the school’s firewall now bans this site. I’ve tried everything to get around it to no avail.

I am confident this is not the result of a rather positive article about the university. However, for kicks and giggles, let’s go conspiracy theorist on them… what more can they do?

When Dr. Lee G. Royce, President of the college, saw my post, he no doubt became filled with rich, privileged rage (read as: he cried). How dare the limelight be stolen from him and his “Committee to Eliminate Social Security Number as MC ID”? By the way, worst committee name ever.

So what did the evil administration in Nelson Hall do? They blocked the voice of truth from their halls. They censored the real mind behind the new identification numbers, in order to pawn the work of brilliance off as one of their own.

Either that, or they don’t appreciate a little common sense from a moderate. To be expected from an extremely conservative university backed by the Mississippi Baptist Convention. Mississippi College: Love Jesus. Hate free thought. Pay up.

But again, I doubt this is the case. Whatever the reason may be, if The Acropolis, a blog mainly intended for students at Mississippi College, is blocked from all computers at the college, the hill city must be moved. I’ll be digging deeper on this issue over the week, because it’s still summer, so I can waste time on adventures such as this.
